I’m Epiphany Emmangelic.
Grief Coach. Life Rebuilding Coach. Storyteller. Survivor. Space Holder.
I didn’t come to this work through theory — I came through lived experience.
At eleven years old, I survived the violent deaths of my parents and brother. That trauma shattered the world I knew and changed the way I understood safety, identity, and life itself.
For years, there were no words for what I carried.
No space for the grief.
No language for what survival left behind.
In that silence, I became a seeker.
My journey took me across the globe — from Malawi, Burma, and Rwanda to healing spaces across the United States.
I worked in orphanages, advocacy centers, and communities where loss and resilience lived side by side. I witnessed how our experiences shape individuals, families, and entire communities — through culture, memory, faith, identity, and survival.
Today, alongside building Beneath the Silence Healing, I hold a Master of Social Work degree and continue supporting individuals navigating high-crisis moments.
That work has deepened my understanding of how grief, trauma, and survival continue shaping our lives long after the visible crisis has passed.
Through my studies, global work, and personal healing journey, I came to understand something:
Healing is not only about what happened to us.
It is also about who we become afterward.
Some losses are visible — the ones the world recognizes.
But many are hidden:
The grief of losing yourself.
The grief of losing safety.
The grief of dreams you never got to live.
The grief of becoming someone you no longer recognize.
These experiences often go unnamed.
And yet, they shape how we move through the world, how we love, what we believe is possible, and the lives we allow ourselves to create.
I didn’t set out to create a method.
I set out to create the kind of space I once needed.
I created Beneath the Silence Healing as a space where what you carry does not have to stay hidden — a space where grief, identity, healing, and becoming can exist together.
Whether you are learning to live after loss or rebuilding yourself after a difficult chapter, there is room for your story here.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to walk with you as you reconnect with the parts of yourself that pain, survival, and life taught you to leave behind.
Because your story deserves a voice.
And you deserve the chance to become again.
